Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan celebrates 10-year anniversary
Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan recommended itself as the authoritative scientific research, educational and cultural center, which became one of the sights of the capital of our country. A basic idea, which is reflected in its expositions - is the formation of the national sovereignty of the republic and the historical role of the First President N.A. Nazarbayev in the building of the independent democratic state. Nowadays the fund of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has more than 126 000 units of storage, including more than 16 000 books and printed publications of the Private library of the Head of the state, about 100 000 units of storage of the Private archive of the Head of the state and more than 8 000 units of storage of the museum collection. There are held the survey and thematic excursions in Kazakh, Russian and English languages for all categories of the visitors. August 25, 2014 the museum, according to the press service of the institution, is planning to celebrate its 10 - year anniversary. That day at 09.30 a.m. the museum will hold the international scientific-practical conference "Museum in modern society. Search for new ways of development". The conference is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the museum, and is aimed at strengthening communication between museums and science centers. The international scientific-practical conference will be attended by representatives of diplomatic missions accredited to the Republic of Kazakhstan, state bodies, scientific and museum communities from near and far abroad. The event will discuss the issues related to the development of museums, their scientific and educational potential, interactive and information technology in museum practice; museum pedagogy, as well as new forms of work with visitors. At 10.30 a.m. a forum called "Constellation partners" will start its operation. The forum will bring together partners of the museum including diplomatic missions, regional museums, cultural institutions and creative groups of Astana and other regions of Kazakhstan. Workshops on museum education and topical issues of domestic museums will be conducted the same day at 2p.m.
