Mutual trade in Customs Union up 8.2% in January-November 2012

The Customs Union foreign trade with third countries totaled $855 billion. Exports made up $547.2 billion, imports - $307.8 billion. Foreign trade was up 4%, or $32.8 billion, on January-November 2011. Exports grew by 3.7%, or $19.7 billion, imports showed a 4.4%, 13.1 billion, increase. The Customs Union posted trade surplus of $239.4 billion. In January-November 2011 the trade surplus was $232.8 billion.
In January-November 2012 Belarus' exports went up by 14%, while its imports contracted by 7.8%. Russia increased its exports by 2.5% and imports by 3.4%. Kazakhstan's exports climbed 7.9%, imports - 30.8%.
The mutual trade between the Customs Union member states totaled $62.3 billion, up 8.2%. Belarus-Russia trade reached a $40 billion mark, going up by 10.9% and accounting for 64.2% of the total mutual trade in the Customs Union. Belarus-Kazakhstan trade made up $0.8 billion (up 17.1%; 1.3% of the total). Russia-Kazakhstan trade reached $21.5 billion (up 3.3%; 34.5%).
