N Kazakhstan detects 323 COVID cases since Jan

Since the beginning of the year 323 coronavirus cases were detected in North Kazakhstan, Kazinform Agency reports.

25% of the cases constitute children under 14 years old, the sanitary and epidemiological control department reports.

Sanitary doctors recorded a slight increase in cases.

Five people from Petropavlovsk, including one child, were tested positive for COVID-19. The growth in cases was recorded in Kyzylzhar, Taiynsha districts and the city of Petropavlovsk as compared to past August.

As earlier reported, the Kazakh Healthcare Minister, Kazakhstan confirmed the COVID-19 Eris strain case. In August the country reported the Pirola case.
