N Kazakhstan starts forage crops harvesting
PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - North Kazakhstan farmers has started harvesting forage crops. "Peterfeld - Agro" is one of the largest farms in Kyzylzharsky area has already prepared about 4 thousand tons of silage.
"Peterfeld - Agro" started harvesting of forage crops 5 days ago. There have been cleared about five hundred hectares of land. We harvest barley, oats, and peas. It is planned to harvest 10 thousand tons", informed the director of "Peterfeld - Agro" Viktor Kowalski. From the beginning of the year Peterfeld - Agro received subsidies amounting to KZT 24 million for the purchase of seeds and herbicides.
