N Kazakhstan, Sverdlov oblast businessmen discussed coop
PETROPAVLOVSK. March 12. KAZINFORM /Sergey Kuznetsov/ A trade-economic mission of Sverdlov oblast, Russia, arrived yesterday in Petropavlovsk for discussing cooperation with the North Kazakhstan businessmen.
The mission was organized by commerce and industry chambers of both regions in accordance with the agreement on cooperation between them. Representatives of 11 enterprises of Ural and 50 enterprises of the North Kazakhstan oblast took part in the event.
The Kazakh and Russian businessmen got acquainted themselves with the products of the ventures, held negotiations and signed documents on cooperation. The meeting aimed at expansion of mutually beneficial Kazakhstan-Russian trade turnover which reached USD 847 mln last year.
The North Kazakhstan Commerce and Industry Chamber plans to organize a mission with the businessmen of Tyumen oblast of the Russian Federation.
