N Kazakhstan to build titanium-zirconium concentrates dressing plant
PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM Governor of the North Kazakhstan region Yerik Sultanov paid a working trip to the Taiynsha district to get familiarized with Tioline mining and processing works, engaged in the Obukhov titanium and zirconium ore field development, the company's press service said.
It is planned to build a titanium-zirconium concentrates dressing plant within the frame of the State Advanced Industrial and Innovation Development Programme. The project worth KZT 3,5 bln will create 460 workplaces. Currently, the plant produces zirconium silicate, rutile, and titanic iron ore, the greater part of which, 70%, is sent to export.
