N. Nazarbayev expresses condolences to the people of France

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the French Republic Francois Hollande over the deadly attack targeting a satirical magazine in Paris that left 12 dead, the press service of Akorda reported.

The telegram says that the Head of State with deep sorrow took the tragic news of the death and wounding of French citizens as a result of a ruthless terrorist act in Paris. "The global presence of terrorism has now become a common threat to all nations. For its part, Kazakhstan condemns any manifestation of terrorism and extremism that threatens international security," the telegram reads. Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed his condolences on his own behalf and on behalf of the Kazakhstani people to the families and friends of the victims, as well as the French people.
