N. Nazarbayev received author of book ‘Nursultan Nazarbayev and the Making of Kazakhstan’ Jonathan Aitken
During the meeting J. Aitken informed President about his intention to write another book about Kazakhstan.
British famous writer highly appraised the achievements of Kazakhstan in the interview to the 'Khabar' channel.
'I think of Kazakhstan as of a miracle. Nobody knew about this country 20 years ago. Now the entire world community talks about the success of your country. Nursultan Nazarbayev made this country a leader. It is really admirable', J. Aitken emphasized.
'I think that Nursultan Nazarbayev played as important role in the world history as Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill in the history of Great Britain. The President of Kazakhstan refused the powerful nuclear arsenal voluntarily. I personally saw how Nursultan Nazarbayev was received at the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, with great honor. He drew all the attention', the writer noted.
