N.Nazarbayev?s book presented in Beijing

BEIJING. March 10. KAZINFORM /Talgat Baimukhambetov/ Presentation of ?In the heart of Eurasia? book in the Kazakh language was held in Beijing within the framework of a range of image events of the Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan and preparation to the coming state visit of Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev to China.

The presentation coincided with celebrations of the upcoming Nauryz holiday. The representatives of the Kazakh Diaspora time Nauryz celebrations with the visit of heads and senior officials of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in Beijing for participation in the session of the National People's Congress (NPC). Kazakh Ambassador to People?s Republic of China Ikram Adyrbekov informed the guests on the major developments in Kazakhstan in recent times, paying special attention to the key points of Kazakh-Chinese cooperation and the main provisions of the Kazakh President's Address to the Nation. The Ambassador praised the position of the Chinese leadership on maintenance of cultural and spiritual identity of the local Kazakh Diaspora. ?In the heart of Eurasia? book of N.Nazarbayev, published in the Kazakh language in the Arabic script was presented to the guests as well. It was noted that the book will allow Kazakhs, living in China, to better know Kazakhstan and the new capital city Astana. A.Kerimabai, delivering speech on behalf of the Kazakh Diaspora in China, expressed gratitude for the publication of the book and readiness to spread it among the Kazakhs of Xinjiang. He expressed hope on publication of other books in the Kazakh language in the Arabic script, including the works of the Head of the State.
