N. Nazarbayev to visit Germany Feb 3

ASTANA. January 26. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ In conformity with the agreements reached on September 3, 2008 during the state visit of German President Horst Kohler to Kazakhstan, Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev will make a visit to the Federal Republic of Germany on February 3 for official opening of the Year of Kazakhstan in Germany. Official spokesperson of the Kazakh MFA Yerzhan Ashikbayev has made this public at a weekly briefing in Astana today, Kazinform reports.

In the course of the visit N. Nazarbayev will have meetings with the leadership of Germany. A Kazakh-German business-forum and a concert dedicated to the opening the Year of Kazakhstan in Germany will be held. The plan of holding Kazakhstan?s Year in this country includes high-level meetings, economic forums, cultural-humanitarian, educational and other certain projects directed on further development of bilateral ties.
