National Archives opened exhibition on Constitution Day
Representatives of the Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Information, Nur Otan Party, public and state figures, scientists, heads of the national-cultural centers and organizations participated in the event.
Opening the exhibition Director General of the National Archives Yrysty Sariyeva noted tremendous contribution of the First President of Kazakhstan to creation of the first independent Constitution of the country.
Archive documents disclosing all the history of the Constitution were presented at the exhibition. The documents relating to the constitutional law, State Symbols including those on development of Astana city were also presented at the exhibition.
In addition over 200 documents were selected from the President's Archives for the exhibition. Following the results of the event the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Institute of History of the State entered into agreement on cooperation.
