National census under personal control of governors: Pavlodar region

PAVLODAR. February 26. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ The National Census commenced yesterday was discussed at the telephone conference of Governor of Pavlodar region Bakytzhan Sagintayev with the heads of towns and districts' administrations, Kazinform reports.

Head of the regional Statistics Department Dana Sultanova informed that 623 census divisions, equipped with furniture, telephone communications and documents were opened in the region. Each of 2697 counters held preparatory tour of the territory and met with the population. Stationary divisions were opened at customs terminals. Free pass and security are provided for counters. Governors of towns and districts reported on the process of the census. B.Saginateyev charged to control over the most important campaign of the country. The heads will report on census work's results every day.
