National council of women supports snap presidential elections
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - NGO "National council of women" supports the initiative of the Council of People's Assembly of Kazakhstan on holding early presidential elections, this has been said by chairwoman of the council Nina Kayupova at today's briefing in Central Communications Service.
"As you know February 14 the Council of People's Assembly of Kazakhstan proposed holding an early presidential election this year. The Assembly said Kazakhstan could not hold both a parliamentary and a presidential election in 2016 at a time of a new crisis," she said. According to Nina Kayupova, the anti-crisis program called "Nurly-Zhol" has been voiced by President in his state-of-the-nation address to the people. Under the program there will be implemented infrastructural projects, created new jobs, provided support for small and medium-sized business, performed social obligations.
