National database for e-licensing presented in Astana

ANA. August 14. KAZINFORM. /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Presentation of the information system "E-Licensing national database" with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Informatization and Communication Yerlan Durmagambetov has been held in Astana today.

"The purpose of the project is to automate the issue and consideration of state licenses. Last year the system was introduced as a pilot project in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Internal Affairs Ministry and Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies. This year the database is planned to be implemented in six more state bodies", the Deputy Chairman said.

According to him, by the end of 2010 it is planned to involve all state bodies.

The project is realized by "National Information Technologies" JSC within the framework of e-government program.
