National Space Agency readies for transfer of jurisdiction over KazSat-2 to Kazakhstan

ASTANA. November 4. KAZINFORM /Sara Kabikyzy/ Nazakhstan's National Space Agency 'KazCosmos' JSC is getting ready for transfer of jurisdiction over KazSat-2 to Kazakhstan. The satellite was launched on 16 July 2011 from Baikonur cosmodrome.

In this regard, the Kazakh Space Agency and Republican Center for Space Communication established an inspection commission, which will hear the report of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise 'Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center' on the results of the flight tests and operational readiness of KazSat-2.
