Nauryz celebrated at one of the top universities in Belgium
Qazaq Society, the Kazakh students’ society in Belgium, together with the KULTUR association of students of Turkiye and ESN international student organization for the first time celebrated Nauryz meiramy at the KU Leuven University in Belgium, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Students organized a fair to feature the national Kazakh and Turkish cuisine. Kyrgyz students showed national games.
The university hall was decorated with Kazakh and Turkish flags and national ornaments contributing to the festive atmosphere of Nauryz.
According to president of the Qazaq Society Madilan Rashidov, the key is to show international students the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people.
