Nazarbayev arrives in Davos for World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2009

The Head of the State will attend a plenary session and a session of the Energy Summit ?Oil & Gas Geopolitics ? A Map in Transition?. A number of bilateral meetings is planned. The Kazakh official delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister Yerbol Orynbayev, President's aide on foreign affairs Kairat Sarybai, President's aide on economic issues Asset Issekeshev, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev and others. The World Economic Forum is an international nongovernmental organization. The current state and prospects of international economy in the financial crisis will be a main theme of the session. Participation in the Forum allows leading politicians and economists of the world to define directions of the world policy.
