Nazarbayev forecasts 15% investment growth in Kazakhstan's non-oil and gas sector

TANA. November 25. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev forecasts that investment in the non-oil and gas sector will increase by 15 percent till 2017.

"Our country enters an epoch of comprehensive modernization. In 2017 investment in the non-oil and gas sector will grow by 15 percent, the share of the processing industry in the country's GDP will significantly increase, export of finished goods will raise by 40 percent, labor productivity will increase 1.5 times, metallurgic, chemical, light industries will meet the third part of the local needs," Nazarbayev made public at the Extraordinary Congress of Nur Otan People's Democratic Party.
