Nazarbayev: Kazakhstan supports Russia's initiative on transfer of Syrian chemical weapons under international control
BISHKEK. September 13. KAZINFORM - Today, in his speech at the SCO summit in Bishkek, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said that Kazakhstan expresses its utmost concern regarding the use of chemical weapons in Syria.

"We are convinced that all the possibilities for a diplomatic solution to the conflict have not exhausted. Kazakhstan supports the initiative of the Russian Federation on the transfer of Syrian chemical weapons under international control and the accession of Syria to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and its Destruction'', said Nazarbayev.
