Nazarbayev, Lukashenko exchange views on Ukraine crisis

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has had a telephone conversation with his counterpart President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko today, Kazinform has learnt from the president's press service.

Nursultan Nazarbayev and Alexander Lukashenko discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation as well as prospects of interaction within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). Besides, the two presidents exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine. Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed confidence that the Normandy format meeting scheduled to take place in Minsk on February 11 will allow to reach compromise in finding solutions to the crisis in Ukraine.
