Nazarbayev meets with Governor of Astrakhan Region of Russia Alexander Zhilkin

ATYRAU. November 17. KAZINFORM /Andrey Sokolov/ Within the working trip to Atyrau region Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with Governor of Astrakhan Region of the Russian Federation Alexander Zhilkin.

The issues of the interregional cooperation development were discussed at the meeting.

Kazakhstan, primarily, Atyrau and Astrakhan regions enjoy close contacts. Trade turnover between them increases year by year. They solve many problems together. There are big plans in the humanitarian sphere. Kazakhstan and Russia are expected to build a Mausoleum of Bokei Khan in Astrakhan Region.
