Nazarbayev: Participation of NATO Heads of State in Astana OSCE Summit to give additional impulse to stabilization of Afghanistan

LISBON. November 20. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Personal participation of Heads of State and Government of NATO member states and partner countries in the OSCE Summit in Astana will give additional impulse to stabilization of Afghanistan, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said on Saturday in Lisbon.

Addressing the participants of the NATO Summit Mr. Nazarbayev noted that in 10 days on December 1-2 Astana would host the first in the new millennium OSCE Summit playing a key role in provision of Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian security.

"Thus the theme of Afghanistan will become one the most topical issues on its agenda", N. Nazarbayev emphasized.
