Nazarbayev pledges further industrialization of Kazakhstan
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said introducing the new Kazakhstan's Development Strategy until 2050 at a reception dated to the Day of Independence on Friday.
The Head of State stressed the need for a brand new system of natural resources management and urged to update the energy policy of the country.
"Technological revolution changes everything. For instance, the introduction of composites' technology and new types of concrete devaluates the reserves of iron ore," the Kazakh Leader noted.
The President called on the Government to expand and develop the program of the forced industrial and innovative development. "The country has no future without powerful industry that does not depend on oil and gas. The Government should map out a detailed plan of further industrialization of the country and consider it as the main objective of the new strategy," N. Nazarbayev explained.
