Nazarbayev received Culture Minister M. Kul-Mukhammed

M.Kul-Mukhammed informed the President of implementation of the Madeni Mura program, state program of functioning and development of languages for 2011-2020, national actions plan on holding the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence, the days of culture of the regions and other priority directions of the Ministry's activity.
The President outlined that he Ministry conducts huge work. N.Nazarbayev pointed to the necessity of closer cooperation with creative unions, the Kazakh intelligentsia. He noted that one of the tasks of the national cinema is to disclose the folk traditions and the best human qualities of modern Kazakhstani people, create pictures of unity of the people, its difficult historical path, the present day of Kazakhstan.
The President urged the Ministry to activate work with intelligentsia and creative circles on a wide range of issues regarding preservation of historic and cultural heritage, disclosure of significance of achievements of the Independence of the country.
