Nazarbayev receives Chairman of Accounts Committee for Control over Execution of Republican Budget

ASTANA. February 17. KAZINFORM Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Accounts Committee for Control over Execution of the Republican Budget Omarkhan Oksikbayev; Kazinform refers to the President?s press service.

The Chairman reported to the President on the results of control measures taken by the Committee in the fourth quarter of 2008. Within the meeting the issues regarding execution of the national budget and efficiency of budgetary funds use were considered. ?I reported to the President on facts of ineffective use of budgetary funds directed to regions as target transfers and on measures taken by the Accounts Committee within the Government?s anti-recessionary programme?, O.Oksikbayev said to journalists at a briefing.
