Nazarbayev's bronze bust erected in Gagauzia

A bronze bust of Nursultan Nazarbayev made by well known Russian sculptor Konstantin Konstantinov was fixed up on Monday in the capital of Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia.
At the opening ceremony Governor of Gagauzia Mikhail Formuzal said that the decision to erect the bust was a tribute to the eminent statesman, who led his people in a crucial moment in history and is surely leading him to prosperity. "Nursultan Nazarbayev has not only preserved the state, but also improved its international prestige. This is an example of service to his people and a role model for us and our descendants," the Governor of Gagauzia told.
In turn, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Amangeldy Zhumabayev expressed gratitude for the erecting of the bust of the Kazakh leader on the eve of the 21 anniversary of the independence of our country, noting that the success and achievements of Kazakhstan are inseparably linked with the name of its first president
