"The global economy is still under the influence of turbulence and high risks. In this context the SCO member countries need to rethink the economic aspect of cooperation and deliver practical results," the Head of State noted.

President Nazarbayev also pointed out the need to implement earlier adopted program of multilateral commercial and economic cooperation, plan of its realization and the list of events on further development of the SCO project activity.

In the current context, integration within the organization and in the Eurasian space is also crucial, according to the Kazakh Leader.

The President of Kazakhstan reiterated his country's interest in the establishment of a special account and the SCO Development Bank that had been discussed during the narrow format top-level meeting earlier.

"The launch of these mechanisms will raise effectiveness of the SCO economic cooperation," President Nazarbayev believes.
