Nazarbayev sets a goal to carry out frontier service reform

ATYRAU. December 14. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev believes Kazakhstan needs a big reform of its frontier service.

The President announced it in his state-of-the-nation address "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy on Friday in Astana.

"It is necessary to introduce a large-scale reform of the Kazakh frontier service. The goal is to boost its effectiveness to the maximum, to modernize the material and technical base," the Kazakh Leader emphasized.

Nursultan Nazarbayev commissioned the Security Council in partnership with his Administration and the Government to prepare a special complex program of the frontier service development.
