Nazarbayev stressed the need to improve tax administration

ASTANA. March 4. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan Bolat Zhamishev, the Presidential press service reported.

During the meeting B.Zhamishev reported on the execution of the republican budget in the current year, the work carried out by the Ministry and the main activities in the coming period.

The Finance Minister said that work on strengthening tax and customs administration, in particular, by the transfer of fiscal powers from Customs Tax Committee is underway. In addition, improving the system of public procurement and monitoring of the national budget.

The President stressed the need to further improvement of tax administration, including resolving problems in the functioning of the special tax treatment.

B.Zhamishev also said that all the procedures related to the transfer of budget planning issues to the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning are completed.
