Nazarbayev to attend sessions of CSTO Collective Security Council, EurAsEC Interstate Council

The President will take part in a session of the Interstate Council of the EurAsEC afternoon. The official delegation includes Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Marat Tazhin, National Welfare Fund ?SamrukKazyna? CEO Kairat Kelimbetov, the President?s aide on foreign affairs Kairat Sarybai, aide to the President ? Secretary of the Security Council Kairbek Suleimenov, Minister of Defense Daniyal Akhmetov, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev, Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev and others. As earlier reported, Moscow will hold a joint session of the Foreign Ministers? Council, Defense Ministers? Council, Committee of Security Council Secretaries of the CSTO and a session of the CSTO Collective Security Council. Within the sessions it is planned to discuss issues on creation of the CSTO collective rapid reaction force, which was initiated at the informal summit of the heads of the states in Borovoye (December 19-21). The sides will consider a number of issues of the CSTO activity. Within the EurAsEC top level session, agreements on establishment of the EurAsEC anti-crisis fund and high-tech centre will be discussed.
