ASTANA. August 20. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan is expected to participate in the second Cooperation Council Summit of the Turkic Speaking Countries on August 23 in Bishkek.

Altay Abibullayev, the Kazakh MFA's official spokesperson, told a briefing on Monday in Astana.

"As was reported earlier, President Nazarbayev arrives for a state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic on August 22. It is worth mentioning, both sides are ready for the upcoming visit. In line with the agenda, the third session of the Supreme Interstate Council will focus on the perspective directions of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz strategic partnership," A. Abibullayev said.

The sides are to sign the Jubilee Declaration on the deepening of strategic partnership and friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan dated to the 20th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic ties. Other documents of mutual interest will be signed as well.
