Nazarbayev to launch aircraft manufacturing plant in Karaganda

RAGANDA. November 22. KAZINFORM /Olga Petrenko/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev continues his working trip to Karaganda region.

Today the President will visit and take part in launch of the newly built agricultural plane plant. The project was carried out under the state program of forced industrial innovative development. Its cost is KZT 1.6 billion.

Afterwards, via teleconference Akim (Governor) of Karaganda region Serik Akhmetov will inform the President of the region's socio-economic results over the past 20 years as well as development prospects till 2015. A number of new industrial facilities and 11 kindergartens will be inaugurated via teleconference, too.

Nazarbayev will end his trip with a visit to the Independence Monument in Karaganda.
