Nazarbayev to open ?Year of Kazakhstan in Germany?

BERLIN. February 3. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will attend an opening ceremony of ?The Year of Kazakhstan in Germany? within his working visit to Germany; Kazinform reports.

Kazakhstan considers Germany as a reliable partner in the European Union. Our country plays a leading role in the 2007-2013 EU Strategy for Central Asian. As earlier reported, the program of ?The Year of Kazakhstan in Germany? consists of over 100 events ? political meetings, economic forums and cultural-humanitarian projects. It is planned to hold conferences and forums dedicated to ?Road to Europe? program, the upcoming Kazakh chairmanship in the OSCE, our country?s contribution to the antinuclear world. Germany will hold ?The Day of Economy of Kazakhstan?, seminars on the issues of healthcare and alternative energy sources are foreseen. Within the framework of development of cultural cooperation the German reader will get acquainted with works of Mukhtar Auezov, Olzhas Suleimenov and others.
