Nazarbayev University called to be scientific hub of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. November 18. KAZINFORM The Nazarbayev University introduces innovative educational and scientific project in the system of higher education of Kazakhstan. Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of the Nazarbayev University Kadisha Dairova has said in an exclusive interview to pm.kz site.

"The Nazarbayev University is a unique project," Kadisha Dairova said.

She noted that "the university is a kind of educational and scientific hub of Kazakhstan and in further will be such one for the whole post-Soviet space."

Kazakhstan does not have enough high-level electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, civil engineers and chemical engineers.

"Hence we are aimed at training these specializations," she emphasized.

Besides, she informed that in the future the university plans to train specialists on nanotechnologies and space activity.
