Nazarbayev urges to get ready to global economic slowdown

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev recommends to keep in mind cyclic development character of the world economy.

"I have approved the new Foreign Policy Concept of Kazakhstan until 2020 with consideration for long-term tasks of Strategy 2050. The concept takes into account the worldwide trends, aims at efficient cooperation with our partners around the world," Nursultan Nazarbayev said meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions and organizations, accredited in Kazakhstan. According to the President, the global economic situation enjoys certain positive moves. "The forecasts came down to the fact that economic upsurge trends gain momentum in Europe, the US and other countries. But we should not forget about cyclic development of the world economy, we should be ready for global recession," he added.
