Nearly 300 enterprises to be privatized until yearend - Kazakh Finance Ministry
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 295 enterprises will be transferred to the competitive environment until the end of the year, Kazakh Vice Minister of Finance Ruslan Dalenov told a briefing in the Central Communications Service, Kazinform has learnt from primeminister.kz.
94 enterprises from this list have access to public procurement, under which they have received 25 billion tenge.
The Vice Minister told that about 40 entities were offered for bidding during the second stage of privatization.
"The starting price for the state property was 49 million tenge, the total was 62.3 million tenge, ie, almost 30% more. That is, there is no undervaluation. The most important peculiarity of the auction is that all is sold at a commercial price, here there is no low cost or quasi government revenue in the form of coupons, vouchers, and the like," he noted.
