Nearly 850 000 sq.m. of affordable housing to be commissioned in Kazakhstan in 2014

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 845 300 square meters of housing will be commissioned in Kazakhstan this year as part of the 2020-Affordable Housing program.

Mr. Yerbolat Dossayev, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning, made it public at the Government's meeting on Tuesday. "159 billion tenge was earmarked in the republican budget for implementation of this program in 2014. 20.8 billion tenge will be allotted additionally given the revised budget. As a result, 845 300 square meters of housing will be commissioned by the end of this year," Y. Dossayev said. According to him, 118.4 billion tenge was allotted for the same purpose in 2013 and that allowed to put into commission 703 600 square meters of housing last year.
