Necessary conditions created for Kazakh-Bashkir relations development: K.Tokayev

ASTANA. March 17. KAZINFORM Senate Speaker Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Chairman of the National Assembly - Kurultai of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev on Thursday.

Issues of further strengthening the Kazakh-Bashkir relations including the interparliamentary contacts were discussed at the meeting, the Senate press service reported.

According to K.Tokayev, the visit of the Bashkir delegation will be useful for interparliamentary contacts development as well as for extension of the Kazakh-Russian cooperation.

Noting that all necessary conditions were created for Kazakh-Bashkir relations development the Kazakh Speaker spoke for strengthening interaction between the countries in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The Head of the Bashkir delegation congratulated the Speaker on appointment to the post of Director General of the UN Office in Geneva.
