Necessary to create new state program of languages development: M.Kul-Mukhammed

ASTANA. January 23. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ ?Full realization of the Strategic Plan and achievement of all target codes are the main tasks for 2009?, Kazakh Minister of Culture and Information Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed has said today at the enlarged session of the Ministry, Kazinform reports.

It is necessary to pay attention to the work on promotion of objects of historical-cultural heritage alongside with the projects on their protection and development. Besides, it is necessary to stimulate growth of production and demand for the national cultural products. In this regard, a competition on the best dramatic, musical, literary works with big prize fund and possibility to promote them will be announced soon. In the informational sphere it is necessary to improve quality of Kazakhstani informational product, especially television. Due to it, thematic differentiation of the state electronic mass media will be accomplished. A weekly in English and the ?Road to Europe? magazine will be established at the basis of the ?Kazakhstanskaya Pravda? newspaper. In accordance with the expiration of the State program of languages functioning and development in 2010, it is necessary to develop new long-term program in this sphere. The Ministry will keep on cooperation with the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and non-governmental sector. The Fourth Civil Forum is to be held this year as well. The Minister noted that it is necessary to observe financial and budget discipline, maximally decrease administrative expenditures.
