Necessary to fight not with consequences, but with causes of corruption - First Deputy Chairman of Nur Otan

ASTANA. November 4. KAZINFORM Nur Otan People's Democratic Party suggests paying more attention to struggle against corruption causes in the country. First Deputy Chairman of the Party Nurlan Nigmatullin has said it at an opening of an international scientific conference in Astana.

"Today we should give a signal to the society by our own example, that fight against corruption is not a one-time campaign. The people should know that it is a long-term program aimed at creation of fundamental stable nationwide foundation to root out corruption. In this connection, on the Kazakh President's instructions Nur Otan Party elaborated draft new Strategy on combating corruption for the nearest 10 years which is raised today", N.Nigmatullin said.

"The main purpose of this Strategy is joining together efforts of the state and society directed to reduction of conditions which cause corruption. In other words, it is necessary to fight not with consequences, but with its causes", he added.
