Necessary to pay special attention to women's position among migrant workers - Greek rep at OSCE Review Conference

ASTANA. November 27. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ It is necessary to pay special attention to position of women among migrant workers. The representative of Greece has said it at the OSCE Review Conference held in the Palace of Pace and Concord.

"Struggle against intolerance, especially against racism and xenophobia which migrants face often in the OSCE participating states - it is an important and necessary thing", the speaker said.

According to him, it is necessary to pay special attention to position of women among migrant workers, hence they have special problems. The OSCE should be at the forefront of combating this phenomenon - intolerance against migrants.

He emphasized that it is very important to introduce corresponding approaches to educational establishments - nurture tolerance from an early age. It is crucial to tune up a dialog and cooperation with the countries of origin of migrants.
