Nepomniachtchi, Carlsen share World Blitz champion's title
The 2024 FIDE World Blitz Chess Championship wrapped up in New York with Ian Nepomniachtchi and Magnus Carlsen sharing the champion's title, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Earlier, it was reported that Magnus Carlsen withdrew from the 2024 FIDE World Blitz Chess Championship over violation of the tournament dress code and wearing jeans. Later FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich took a decision to loosen the dress code requirements for the World Rapid and Blitz Championships.
