New acting head coach of Kazakhstan's football team named
Ali Aliyev has been appointed as acting head coach of Kazakhstan’s national football team, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakhstan Football Federation.

Ali Aliyev was born on October 27, 1980. He is a native of Almaty. Being a professional football player, Aliyev has played for such football clubs as CSKA-Kairat, Kairat, Irtysh, Tobol, Vostok, Ordabasy, and Kyzylzhar. On top of that, Ali Aliyev has also played for Turkish football clubs, including Akçaabat Sebatspor, Kayseri Erciyesspor, Kartalspor, and Diyarbakirspor.
In 1999, he participated in the World Youth Championship in Nigeria as a member of the Kazakhstan youth team. His national team's debut was in 2002, during a friendly match against Estonia.
Ali Aliyev commenced his coaching career as a playing coach in FC Ordabasy in 2014. Following the conclusion of his playing career in 2018, he headed FC Kyzylzhar, helping the club propel to the Premier League.
In 2021, Aliyev worked as head coach of FC Shakhter Karagandy before heading the youth squad of FC Astana.
In 2022, he assumed the managerial role at FC Zhenis, and subsequently, he led FC Kyzylzhar again. During his tenure, the Petropavlovsk-based club advanced to the third round of UEFA Conference League qualification, where they prevailed over the Croatian team, Osijek.
As reported earlier, Meirambek Makhambetov was appointed as the Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sport of the Aktobe region.
