New appointment made at Kazakh Prosecutor General's Office

Almaz Mukhametzhanov has been designated as the head of the office of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency cites the Prosecutor General’s press service.

Born in 1972, Almaz Mukhametzhanov started his career as an assistant to prosecutor in Karaganda city and rose through the ranks to become the head of the organizational work department of the Prosecutor General’s Staff.

Between April 2009 and February 2012 he worked at the Ministry of Justice.

Starting from 2012 and prior to the recent appointment he held various posts at the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
