New Chairman of Kazakh Supreme Judicial Council named
Dmitry Malakhov has been appointed as new Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Akorda.
Dmitry Malakhov was born on 27 August 1974. He is a native of Kokshetau. A graduate of the Almaty Academy of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Malakhov also has a degree of the Turar Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University.
From 2004 to 2019, he worked as deputy head of departments of regional and central apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Financial Police and the National Anti-Corruption Agency.
From 2019 to 2020, he held a position of the head of the operational department of the Kazakh Financial Monitoring Agency.
From 2020 to 2022, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2022 to 2023, he was the First Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2023 to 2024, he held the post of Deputy Chairman of the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since February 2024 he was the Chairman of the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Earlier by the Decree of the Head of State, Denis Shipp was dismissed from the post of the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
