New children's book presents parable on importance of self-acceptance
According to MMD Newswire, the book begins with the first conversation between the two characters, in which Dragon Fly begins to think that, in comparison to Tiki Man, he is unimportant and small. But when a crisis arises and only Dragon Fly can do what is necessary to save the lives of the creatures around him, he learns that everyone has something to offer, and that to love one's self is just as important as loving and accepting others for who they are.
"The point of the story is that we all have an innate quality or talent that we were born with and can share with the world," says Ramirez. "It's a great story for young children but the lesson is applicable to everyone."
Featuring original illustrations and told in simple, straightforward language, the parable of "The Tiki Man and Dragon Fly" encourages readers to avoid comparing themselves to others. Written to entertain and engage, the book is intended to inspire positive personal development among readers of all ages.
"The Tiki Man and Dragon Fly" is available for sale online at Amazon.com and other channels.
