New children’s art centre to open in Pavlodar region

As part of his working trip to Pavlodar region, Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov surveyed the construction progress of the new palace of children’s art in Ekibastuz, Kazinform News Agency cites the Government’s press service.

The contemporary centre covering 7,200 square meters is called to expand children’s additional education coverage. The centre will be fitted with up-to-date high-tech equipment. A cosmic radio communication club, a robotic science studio, industrial architecture and design studios, a scientific biological laboratory, coworking areas, audio studios, a photography academy, and a sports gym will open there. Besides, it will be adapted to the children with special educational needs.

The centre will be commissioned this autumn.

Currently, some 7,000 children or 31% attend 3 supplementary education centres in the city.
