New children’s rehabilitation center opens in Kazakhstan’s Ulytau region

A new rehabilitation center for children with special needs aged 3-18 opened its doors in Ulytau region. It will treat up to 600 children annually, Kazinform News Agency cites the city administration’s press service.

The project was developed with the support of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Fund.

The fund purchased equipment for the center up to 65 million tenge and donated a new children’s playground, football and basketball grounds, as well as a workout-sports complex worth 52.4 million tenge, governor of the region Dastan Ryspekov said.

He said large social projects were developed in the region in 2024. New schools, kindergartens and medical facilities were built in the region.

Another rehabilitation center opened its doors in Aktobe region on the eve of the Republic Day. The center fitted with the necessary equipment will provide services to 125 children with special needs.
