New cinema to open its doors in largest Kazakh village

An up-to-date district library and a new cinema will be opened in Beineu village, Kazinform News Agency has learned from the press service of the akim of the Mangistau region.

Beineu village, located in the Mangistau region, is considered to be the largest settlement in the country. The total area of the village is 51,000 hectares, where 57,000 residents live.

The first cinema in Beineu village is scheduled to open in the coming days. Preparatory work is now underway. The 400 square meters building is designed for 180 seats. Tickets will be available at a starting price of 500 tenge. Ten individuals currently awaiting employment will be hired through the career center.

Furthermore, construction of the first modern library in the Beineu district is underway. The two-story building, with an area of 825 square meters, will have the capacity to accommodate up to 62 people at a time. The facility includes five study halls for schoolchildren, adults, and individuals with disabilities, a book depository, and rooms with Internet access.

The construction is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2025.

According to the regional akimat, the Beineu old library's collection comprises 218,123 books. The library employs 62 individuals. During the first ten months of the current year, the library welcomed 89,000 visitors, with 26,765 individuals registering as regular readers.

As previously reported, a tourist town will be built in the resort area of Kenderli in the Mangistau region, with the capacity to accommodate up to 300,000 visitors annually.
