New coaches of Kazakhstani men’s boxing team named

Kazakhstan revealed the renewed coaching staff of the men’s boxing team, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.

According to the press service of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation, Kairat Satzhanov is the head coach and Askar Yerkebayev is the senior coach of the men’s boxing team of Kazakhstan. New coaches includes Ilyas Oralbekov, Nurken Andassov, Azamat Makazhanov, Talgatbek Zhakpekov and Nurzhan Nassanov.

The men’s boxing team is also joined by nutritionist Alexander Foka, who worked with Oleksandr Usyk, Vasiliy Lomachenko, Teofimo Lopez, Terence Crawford and other professional athletes, as Kazakhstan prepares for the Asian Championships.

The list of coaches is set to be updated following the Boxing Championships in Kazakhstan in December.

Earlier it was reported that the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation held its coaching council following the Paris Olympics during which it was decided to dismiss the entire men’s boxing coaching staff. Kairat Satzhanov was named the new head coach of the men’s boxing team of Kazakhstan.
